Mikey Goldman - Quiet Mind Founder

OUR STORY

Growing up with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Quiet Mind founder Mikey Goldman has always struggled with ways to calm his mind and quiet that pesky internal monologue we all have. After trying a weighted blanket, he noticed its benefits, but found it difficult to move around at night and during the day.

He needed a better solution, but couldn`t find one. That`s when he decided to create the world`s first weighted pillow—Quiet Mind. It was all-natural, convenient, and personal. He wanted to share his invention with other like-minded individuals dealing with the stress and anxiety of living everyday life, struggling to focus with ADHD, finding ways to help their children cope with autism, or who need to quiet their overwhelmed minds.

Our mission

OUR MISSION

An estimated 6.1 million children have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, in the U.S. From kids to adults, many struggle with the symptoms of ADHD, including hyperactivity, fidgeting, difficulty focusing, and anxiety. And how are they told to cope with those symptoms? Prescription drugs, such as Ritalin, Adderall, and a whole new catalog of medications.

Our goal at Quiet Mind is to help people reach their fullest potential with natural solutions. While people with ADHD and other disorders are impacted by learning disabilities, research also shows that people with ADHD thrive as entrepreneurs, freelancers, and creators. There's a strong correlation between people whose brains work differently and people who are successful. We really want to help move the narrative around cognitive disorders into a channel that focuses on unlocking the magic within each of us. Our story in bringing this company to market with so much incredible support is proof that when an ADHD mind goes quiet, magic ensues.
